The plate centrifuge, also known as a flat plate centrifuge, is a batch-type separation machine designed for solid-liquid separation of materials with relatively high solid content. It features a simple structure, easy operation, and reliable performance. The flat plate design allows efficient filtration and discharge of solid cakes, making it suitable for processes requiring thorough solid recovery. This centrifuge is widely used in industrial production lines where stable separation, easy cleaning, and flexible operation are required.

Working Principle

Continuous feeding allows the material to gradually clarify, with the clear liquid continuously discharged through the baffle plate, passing through the machine casing, and exiting through the bottom outlet.
Intermittent feeding: For materials that are difficult to separate, a segmented feeding method can be used. After the clear liquid clarifies, it is discharged through the skimming pipe. Feeding is then repeated in this cycle until a certain amount of sediment is collected, at which point it is manually removed.
Single-pass feeding prevents the liquid level from overflowing the baffle plate, allowing for prolonged separation. The clear liquid is then skimmed off through the skimming pipe.
